Citroen CX GTI Rare! 1987 Peugeot Maserati

The vin is vf7mang0005ng5325. Clear ga title.1987 model. A citroen nut told me there are about 200 of these cars on the road left in America. I recently traded a jeep for this car. I’m pretty much a Italian car nut but I have always like the shape of the ds,sm and cx bodys. Checked off the list. Apparentely the car was imported into Atlanta originally and owned by the local citroen president Mr. Goldstein. During his ownership, Mr.Goldstein passed away.
The car was then purchased in 1994 by the second owner. The second owner gave the car to his son. The son traded me this car for my jeep. I drove the car approximately 80 miles home. I have since put little miles on it. First the items I believe the car needs: 1.Radiator fan switch. 2.Front end alignment.The car drives okay but it wants to drift to the right. No history of accidint damage. 3.A/C not blowing cold. Have no idea why. 4.Small leak from a steel line under the engine. The hydrolics,brakes work fine. 5.Paint is original and the car needs a re-paint (especially flaking bumpers) to look like it should. 6. Automatic transmission needs a second or two to find it’s gear.
Once it’s in gear the car drives smooth. These are the items I have noticed about the car that could be perfected. Now the good stuff: Original paint. NO RUST. All Michelin trx tires are in great shape. The trunk has a brand new trx tire in it as well. New alternator in trunk along with misc belts etc. All service records.All Spheres replaced in 02. All glass in good shape. Hydrolics work fine. Sunroof works. The car has a excellent history and deserves the tlc of a true Citroen fan. Locals are more than welcome to take a look. The car is sold “as is” “where is” with no warranty expressed or implied. Car is located in the Atlanta area. BONUS! If the car is sold on ebay, I will throw in the 4 factory tools with the car at no extra cost AND a case of Perrier!

Hi, a Citroen CX drifting to the left or right usually is nothing serious. Many CX models have a sophisticated steering system (called Diravi), which is a bit fly-by-wire; a sensor on the steering column senses the position of the steering wheel and translates that hydrolically-actuated into a position of the front wheels. Part of the system is a nut that a mechanic can turn to calibrate the zero-position of the steering wheel.
